The Cape Verde Praia Stake was formed at the end of April and held their first semi-annual conference last weekend. Here is a picture of the choir practicing before the meeting. They were AMAZING. We are so happy with how much the Stake has grown, not only in numbers but in leadership ability. So many of the leaders are young. In fact the Stake President is only 31 years old. But they love the gospel and they are willing to work hard to be the best shepherds they can be over their flock. It is inspiring to watch them! It was a great conference.
