Christmas in Brigham City

It was indeed a white Christmas. We left for Mark and Mandy's on Christmas Eve and it looked like this.

We finally arrived at their home at about nine o'clock in anticipation of the big event. This is what we were greeted with the next morning - a visit from Santa!

Bruce, who is getting his own room, asked for things to make it look like an explorers room, hence the world map. Rachel, as always, wanted anything girly. And Madelyn, anything fun.
But the added surprise was the boxes. Mandy received a freezer from her parents and the box became the best gift of all - especially with builder Uncle Paul at the helm. He united another box with it and walla an instant fort. Here he is with Madelyn before the building began.

And as another Christmas bonus, we actually were able to call all the rest of our family and talk with them. Oh all the things we took for granted before our mission.
