Elder Mathews' first Baptism in Cape Verde
Many months ago, when we first arrived, Robert befriended a young man at church named Jeremias. He came sporadically during the summer as he spent his time between two Islands, Fogo and Santiago (our island). He returned here when school started and again became involved with the church. He decided it was time to be baptized and asked Robert to baptize him. Robert also had the opportunity to confirm him a member of the church today.

I loved all the pictures. They are the best you've taken of the island. You should be getting another package pretty soon. The Prosper ward from my stake just sent a big box.
